Kim and I met up with Stephanie and Mark in the city last week for their engagement session. We started at their flat in the Marina, and we could have stayed their ALL DAY! It is really great for us to shoot in a couple's home-- it helps us get to know them, and it puts everyone at ease. We quickly learned that these two are crazy about each other, and their February wedding is going to be fantastic!

No room is sacred-- this is the bathroom. Look at the great vintage tile.
We just love elevators, phone booths, any intimate space we can squeeze into.

Next we walked over to Chrissy Field. The weather was on our side as it was surprisingly mild for December. Stephanie and Mark were great sports!

Check out these fabulous shoes! Yes I took many pictures of them over the course of our session. :)

Stephanie and Mark are having their ceremony at Old St. Mary's-- a San Francisco landmark. A landmark that will be going through a seismic retrofit in February. So we got lots of great shots of them there now, before the scaffolding goes up.

One of the many things we love about Old St. Mary's is the location-- right next to Chinatown, downtown, a view of the Bay Bridge...It is a great little cross section of the city.
This is the tree outside of the Bank of America Building... nothing says Christmas like a massive red tree. :)

Stephanie and Mark, thanks for a wonderful time! We are so excited about shooting your wedding this February! To see more from this fantastic session, click on the slideshow below.
