Alicia and Eric - A Perfect Match

Kim and I were in the city last week to photograph Alicia and Eric. These two are so well suited, so well matched-- not just for each other, but for us! We met up with them at the Hotel Vitale, and when they walked in in their vibrant colors, I knew it was going to be a great shoot!

Americano, the restaurant in the Hotel Vitale, was closed when we arrived, but we quickly learned that Alicia is the kind of gal that knows how to open doors.

This shot was taken from one of the exclusive terraces of the Hotel Vitale.

Next, we strolled through the Ferry Building, another one of our favorite places.

Our next stop was Pier 1-1/2, where we proceeded to have our minds completely blown at the Peruvian restaurant La Mar.

First stop, the bar, featuring cocktails made with Pisco, a Peruvian liquor. Delicious...and pretty!

Kim and I have vowed to go back soon, to truly experience this beautiful place.

The bar is fabulous, but the restaurant has an amazing vibe, super-cool and relaxing.

As I previously mentioned, Alicia really knows how to open doors. Here we are in a few unfinshed spaces along the waterfront. At this point I was slightly freaking out-- a beautiful couple in industrial spaces!

Eric and Alicia were fanatastic-- willing to sit in sawdust, snuggle by concrete-- such great sports!

The weather was too beautiful to stay inside, so we strolled down Pier 7.

As the sun went down we drove to Mint Plaza, an inspired public space.

Our last stop of the night was North Beach, the alley outside Vesuvio. A San Francisco landmark, the alley is a great place to shoot.

Alicia and Eric, thanks so much for a phenomenal session! We can't wait for your wedding day!

I really love that first image! Looks like you all had a lot of fun. I love that you go all over town together.

OH MY GOD. That was the best I've seen, ladies. Every photo is the telling of its own original story yet they all come together so beautifully. I feel like I just attended an art opening and had a glass of wine and a conversation with Alicia and Eric. Wow.
